Niki Feijen is a dutch photographer that specialises in documenting and taking images of abandoned and decaying buildings. He is currently traveling the world looking for hidden history behind "do not enter" signs curious on what is hidden on the other side. He mostly takes images of homes located in ghost towns,
lost asylums, decaying hospitals and abandoned castles.
He brought out his first published book "disciple of decay" in April 2013 but was sold out after six months making it now unavailable to purchase, this book was filled with over 150 of his finest decaying images.
The book is based around a series of abandoned family homes that were one owned and lived in but are now crumbling and decaying.
He is also publishing another book called "Frozen" which will be a 184 page large format book that will be out in November 2014.
I really like her work its a lot more pristine than other similar photographers i have looked at. she seems to take image of things that are decay but also still look like they are lived in. everything is left behind and in the original state ( apart from mold etc).
